Travel: Lily of the Valley – The cutest place in all of Paris

I bet this is the cutest spot in all of Paris. Because, how fairytale-like is it to have flowers on the ceiling? And that’s not the only thing. Also the white interior does its job. And the shy guy behind the counter makes you doubt the arrogance of French people. And that’s quite something I guess. What place I’m talking about? Lily of the Valley! A tiny teashop at the border of Le Marais…

At Lily of the Valley you’ll find a complete tea menu and besides tea they sell quite some pastries at this place.

My advice: try to go there a little early and preferably not in the weekend. Why not? I went to Lily around 4pm on Good Friday and besides the fact that this place was crowded at that moment (read: really crowded. Not a single spot to sit) all the yummines was gone too.

Not a big deal, but then again a little bit of a shame for me. Would have loved so sit down to drink a cup of tea over there. But actually in this case it was also all fine by me, because I was still stunned by this little gem. And the fresh tea to go that I took, tasted exactly like a fresh tea is supposed to taste: YUM! So yay for that!

Then again if you like to sit down and quietly enjoy your cup of tea… Go early! Or no, go there anyways. Because this place is just too sweet to miss. I’m positive that busy or not busy, Lily will be your cup of tea.
